The Details:

Date: Sunday June 1st
Distance: 70 km of stunning paved roads and breathtaking views
Start: A scenic route through the best of what Ontario cycling has to offer – no farmers’ fields like the Hell of the North, no trench, no gravel bikes needed, just pure, unadulterated asphalt.

Why Ride the Heck?

The Heck of the North was born out of a simple idea: to offer road cyclists a day of adventure without the rough and rugged off-road chaos of the Hell of the North. For 70 km, you’ll enjoy the thrill of winding through beautiful scenic roads on your road bike — no mud, no gravel pits, just an epic ride for all levels of riders.

It’s challenging but doable, fun but not too crazy. Perfect for anyone who loves a good cycling adventure without the need to hop off the bike and face an unexpected mud pit. There is one gravel section, and it's nice, easy and less than 2kms long so you can keep the rubber on the road. 🚴‍♂️
